Echinoderms
The sea-urchins were by far the most sought after fossil on the Island of Antigua. Occasional specimens could be expected at nearly every exposure. One spot along Gaynor's Stream yielded an impressive forty perfect specimens. In all, according to Dr. Thomas notes, between eighty and one hundred specimens were found and collected during two visits to this locality. The specimens ranged from less than one inch in diameter to some being six or seven inches across. They undoubtedly represent several genera and species.
