Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: rhomboidal to fan-shaped;
    Form: -Lateral convex, with nodules or tubercles;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: slightly irregular;
    Posterior margin: rounded and entire;
    Colliculum: heteromorph, low anterior and indistinct posterior colliculi;
    Ostium: subcircular;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Antirostrum: reduced;
    Rostrum: reduced;
    Ventral depression: absent;
    Dorsal depression: absent;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed under ostium, moderately well developed under sulcus;
    Crista superior: poorly developed over ostium, ridge-like over horizontal portion of the cauda;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Excisura: absent, notch absent;
    Cauda: straight, with slight posterior flexion, tip with an expanded distal end;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
    Ventral margin: rounded, with a prominent concavity in the posterior half;
    Dorsal margin: slightly straight, with a central depression;
    Form: -Mesial convex;
    Thickness: very thick;
