Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: sub-rectangular;
    Posterior margin: flattened;
    Ventral margin: rounded and slightly irregular;
    Excisura: absent, notch absent;
    Antirostrum: rounded;
    Rostrum: reduced;
    Ventral depression: absent;
    Dorsal depression: shallow and elongate along sulcus;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed under ostium, moderately well developed under cauda;
    Crista superior: poorly developed over ostium, ridge-like over horizontal portion of the cauda;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: long and deep, the horizontal portion short and narrow, continue with the large, deeply incised and widened vertical one In the crista inferior, the junction between the horizontal and vertical part of the cauda is very angular;
    Ostium: small, horizontal drop-shape, the anterior tip acute and continuous by an extremely contracted canal that reaches the anterior margin, widely separated from the dorsal and ventral margin;
