Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: fusiform;
    Ventral margin: slightly rounded and entire;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: irregular;
    Excisura: wide, notch moderately deep;
    Antirostrum: sharply rounded to pointed;
    Rostrum: moderate and pointed;
    Ventral depression: absent, very shallow groove in mid-ventral area;
    Dorsal depression: elongate, narrow and shallow;
    Crista inferior: well developed along cauda;
    Crista superior: well developed over ostium, ridge-like along entire sulcus;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorsally constricted;
    Cauda: straight, with slight posterior flexion, extending to margin;
    Ostium: lies mainly on rostrum flare dorsally;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Colliculum: heteromorph, colliculi low;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostio-caudal, heterosulcoid;
    Posterior margin: sharply rounded to pointed and irregular;
