Calical rim

The height of a corallite or corallite series (valley)
 
Character State Definition Illustration
none Septa are at the same elevation as coenosteum. [example: Stylophora portobellensis]
slightly raised Septa are slighty lower than the elevation of the coenosteum. [example: Stylophora monticulosa]
raised Septa are noticebly lower than the elevation of the coenosteum. [example: Stylophora minor]
