- Colony Form: plocoid to subcerioid
- Colony Shape: branching
- Colony Size: branches 7-14 mm thick
- Budding Type: mostly extramural
- Corallite Diameter: 1.0-1.4 mm
- Calical Surface Shape: highly rounded, little or no polygonality or ellipticity
- Coenosteum Width: 0.5-0.8 mm, calices ringed by a series of "pleats"
- Lobes: none
- Columella Structure: styliform
- Wall Structure: septothecal
